Description
This set of wooden peg puzzles explores 6 main feeling families (happy, confident, disgusted, sad, worried, and angry) to build kid’s emotional vocabularies through play! Each puzzle has 3 peg puzzle pieces, going from small to big, that show a different aspect of that emotion.
This is a great way to introduce children to the idea of more complex emotions – the visual representation of small, medium, and big feelings can help them understand and verbalize their own emotions when they feel them.
For example, the Happy family of emotions goes from Calm (small) to Happy (medium) to Excited (big). This can help children conceptualize varying intensities of different emotions.
