Crazy Aaron’s Ninja Thinking Putty gets stronger with every stretch! This putty has a unique formula that builds resistance as you play, getting tenser with each stretch and helping you get stronger like a true ninja! Leaving the putty in the tin for a little while will let the putty revert back to its normal resistance, so you can start all over again. Crazy Aaron’s Ninja Putty is fun to squeeze, and is totally malleable and will not dry out in the tin. Using putty has been proven to provide stress relief, reduce anxiety, and assist in emotion regulation. It’s been designed to target various behaviors. A few suggested uses include:
  • When your child is getting frustrated with a task, you can encourage them to take a brain break and work on the putty. This will help children get their minds off of whatever was previously frustrating them, and give them time to process through their emotions in a safe and productive way.
  • If you child is struggling with fine motor tasks, such as buttoning their clothes or tying their shoes, hiding beads in putty and encouraging them to find the “hidden treasure” is a great activity to encourage fine motor strength and coordination development.
  • Putty can also be a great tool for encouraging children to use both of their hands, which works on Bilateral Coordination. To encourage engagement with the putty with both hands, suggest they stretch the putty to make “snakes!” Once they stretch it, they can use both of their hands to roll the putty on the table into an even longer snake. Finally, when their snake is too long, have them gather up all the putty and use both of their hands to reform the putty back into a ball.
